Can a 12-Week diet reverse heart failure symptoms?

NCT ID NCT05887271

Summary

This study is testing if a 12-week low-calorie diet can improve symptoms and physical function in adults with a common type of heart failure linked to obesity and type 2 diabetes. About 63 participants will be randomly assigned to either start the diet immediately or receive standard care first. Researchers will measure changes in walking distance, heart function, and quality of life to see if significant weight loss helps control this difficult-to-treat condition.
