Could a longer clomid course boost IVF success for women with low egg reserve?

NCT ID NCT06701071

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study compares a longer course of the fertility drug Clomid against the standard 5-day protocol for women with diminished ovarian reserve who are undergoing IVF. The goal is to see if the extended protocol helps retrieve more mature eggs while reducing the number of injections and overall cost. About 120 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatment plans.
