First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looked at the long-term safety and effectiveness of an experimental drug called KZR-616 in people with active polymyositis or dermatomyositis, two rare diseases that cause muscle inflammation and weakness. The 18 participants had already completed a previous study and continued taking KZR-616 for up to 48 weeks. Researchers measured improvement using a total improvement score, with higher scores meaning better results.
