Faster liver scan could save time and money for colorectal cancer patients
NCT ID NCT04973007
First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study aimed to see if a shorter, less expensive liver MRI scan could find cancer that has spread from the colon or rectum to the liver as well as the standard longer scan. The researchers planned to compare the two methods in 10 adults with colorectal cancer and suspected liver spread. The study was terminated early, so results are limited.
