First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests a new treatment for people with pancreatic cancer that has spread to the liver. The approach uses a multi-step process: first, a baking soda solution is infused into the liver to make the tumor environment less acidic, then chemotherapy and an immunotherapy drug are delivered directly to the liver through a catheter. The goal is to improve how long patients live compared to standard treatments. The study is currently recruiting 50 participants.
