First seen Apr 12, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study is testing a new, portable device called LiverScope that uses MRI-like technology to check for liver disease without needles or surgery. Researchers want to see if it works as well as standard MRI scans. About 26 adults with fatty liver disease will have one visit that includes a LiverScope scan, an MRI, and a blood draw.
