New combo therapy aims to boost survival in advanced liver cancer

Summary
This study tests whether adding the immunotherapy drug atezolizumab to standard targeted drugs (cabozantinib or lenvatinib) works better than the targeted drugs alone for people with advanced liver cancer that cannot be surgically removed. About 122 adults who have already received atezolizumab plus bevacizumab will be enrolled. The goal is to see if the combination helps patients live longer and slows cancer growth.
