Summary

This study analyzed health records from 19,019 liver cancer patients to understand if men and women have different risks of their cancer spreading. Researchers used advanced computer learning to create separate prediction tools for each gender. The goal was to help doctors better estimate a patient's risk of metastasis at the time of diagnosis.
