2500 liver cancer patients tracked to see if new drugs beat old standard

NCT ID NCT07233759

First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks back at the medical records of 2500 liver cancer patients treated at a major hospital in Taiwan between 2019 and 2024. Researchers want to see how well newer drugs like Pembrolizumab, Atezolizumab, and Lenvatinib work compared to the older drug sorafenib. They will measure survival, cancer shrinkage, and side effects to understand which treatments are most effective.
