First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looked at 102 adults with chronic liver disease who needed a liver biopsy. Researchers compared two methods: one using a thin needle through the skin (percutaneous) and another using an endoscope through the mouth (EUS-guided). The goal was to see which method patients found more comfortable and less stressful. Results will help doctors choose the best approach for future patients.
