First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests whether a medication called lisdexamfetamine, when combined with healthy lifestyle changes, can help children aged 6 to 12 with severe obesity lose weight. About 44 children will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug or a placebo, along with lifestyle therapy. The main goal is to see how much their body mass index (BMI) changes after 24 weeks.
