First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests a liquid embolic agent that is injected into abnormal blood vessels in the brain to block them. About 116 adults with brain arteriovenous malformation (a tangle of vessels) will receive this treatment or a similar approved device. The goal is to see if the new liquid is as safe and effective at reducing the malformation by at least half, lowering the risk of stroke or bleeding.
