Blood test could spot bile duct cancer return early

Summary
This study tests a new blood test to find early signs of bile duct cancer coming back or getting worse. About 100 adults with suspected or confirmed bile duct cancer who are planning surgery will give blood samples before and after treatment. The goal is to see if certain markers in the blood can predict how the cancer responds to therapy.
