First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests whether a long-acting numbing medicine (liposome bupivacaine) injected near the chest wall can reduce pain after breast cancer surgery and lower the risk of chronic pain. It includes 120 adults scheduled for radical mastectomy. Researchers will measure pain sensitivity and pain levels over six months to see if this approach helps.
