Summary
This study tested a drug called evolocumab (Repatha) to lower cholesterol in 81 kidney transplant recipients. High cholesterol is common after transplant and raises heart disease risk, but standard statin drugs can cause side effects in these patients. The goal was to see if evolocumab is safe and effective for managing cholesterol in this group.
