New app aims to help veterans taper opioids safely

Summary

This study developed and tested a mobile website called LIMIT to help veterans on long-term opioid therapy safely reduce their dose while managing chronic pain. 44 veterans participated, using either the LIMIT app or a pain diary app for 6 months. The goal was to see if the tool was usable and helped lower opioid use.
