Summary
This study tested a special group prenatal care program called TLC for obese pregnant women at high risk for gestational diabetes. 305 women joined and received lifestyle coaching on diet and exercise. The goal was to see if this approach could lower the chance of developing diabetes and improve baby health outcomes like birth weight.
