Summary
This study tested a special group prenatal care program called Targeted Lifestyle Change (TLC) for obese pregnant women at high risk for gestational diabetes. 305 women joined the study. The program focused on healthy eating and physical activity to see if it could lower the chance of developing diabetes during pregnancy and improve baby health outcomes.
