NCT ID NCT05200572
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested whether a telehealth program called Dyadic Life Review (DLR) is practical and acceptable for older adults (65+) with advanced cancer and mild cognitive impairment, along with their caregivers. The program involved guided conversations about life memories, adapted from a proven therapy. Researchers enrolled 38 participants (19 patient-caregiver pairs) and found that most completed the program and found it acceptable. The goal was to see if this approach could be used in future, larger studies to improve emotional well-being.
