First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests whether lidocaine, ketamine, or both given through a vein can safely reduce pain in people with orofacial pain that hasn't responded to other treatments. About 105 adults will be randomly assigned to one of three groups and followed for 6 months. The goal is to find a better option for those suffering from conditions like trigeminal neuralgia or TMJ dysfunction.
