First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study aimed to measure how lidocaine levels change in the blood when given as a weight-based infusion for pain after surgery. It planned to include 40 adults undergoing major surgery, but was terminated early with only 7 participants. The goal was to better understand dosing, not to test a new treatment.
