Summary
This study tested whether levodopa, a drug used for Parkinson's disease, can improve electrical signals in the retina of people with diabetes who have early signs of eye damage. 230 adults with diabetes took part to find the best dose and understand how the drug works. The goal is to see if levodopa can slow or prevent vision loss from diabetic retinopathy.
