First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a step-up dose of the drug letrozole helps women with PCOS who have trouble getting pregnant. 70 women took either a step-up or standard low dose for three menstrual cycles. The step-up group had more women with mature eggs and thicker uterine lining, which are key for pregnancy. The goal was to find a safer and more effective way to trigger ovulation.
