Summary
This study follows 250 people with atrial fibrillation who had a procedure to close a small pouch in the heart (the left atrial appendage) to lower stroke risk. The goal is to see how well the closure works over 5 years, especially for those who cannot take long-term blood thinners. Researchers will track strokes, blood clots, and procedure success using medical records and check-ups.
