First seen Mar 19, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tested a daily pill called leflunomide in 17 women with metastatic triple negative breast cancer, a fast-growing type with few treatment options. The goal was to find a safe dose and see if the drug could shrink tumors or slow the disease. Leflunomide is already used for arthritis, and this trial explored a new way to attack cancer cells.
