New study: teaching leaders to support troops may cut anger and loneliness

Summary
This study tests whether a leadership training program can help National Guard leaders better support their team members' mental health. About 5,400 leaders, service members, and their spouses will take part. The training includes a one-hour online course, a behavior tracking exercise, and a one-hour group session. Researchers will measure changes in anger, loneliness, and psychological distress over 12 months.
