Personalized cell therapy LauT-1 enters human trials for advanced cancers

Summary
This early-stage trial tests a new treatment called LauT-1 for people with advanced melanoma (a type of skin cancer) or sarcoma (a rare cancer of connective tissues). The therapy uses a patient's own immune cells, which are modified in a lab to better recognize and attack cancer cells. The main goals are to see if the treatment is safe and possible to make. Only 9 participants will be enrolled in this single-center study.
