Summary
This study tested two non-drug treatments for painful mouth sores caused by cancer therapy. Forty adult cancer patients with moderate to severe sores were randomly assigned to receive either laser light therapy or ozone gas therapy daily for five days. Researchers measured which treatment better reduced sore severity, pain, and improved patients' quality of life over a month.
