Laser light may loosen stiff wrists after stroke
NCT ID NCT07171788
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 34 times
Summary
This study tests whether shining a low-level laser on the wrist can reduce muscle tightness (spasticity) and improve hand function in 40 stroke survivors aged 45 to 60. Participants will receive laser therapy, and researchers will measure changes in spasticity, grip strength, muscle stiffness, and pain. The goal is to find a non-invasive way to ease symptoms and improve daily hand use.
