Laser light targets debilitating shoulder pain in stroke recovery
NCT ID NCT05564182
Summary
This study tested whether high-intensity laser therapy could help reduce shoulder pain and improve movement in people recovering from a stroke. It involved 40 stroke survivors with shoulder pain, comparing a group that received laser therapy plus exercises to a group that did exercises alone. The goal was to see if the laser treatment led to better pain relief, shoulder function, and quality of life.
