New combo treatment aims to ease thumb arthritis pain

Summary
This study looks at whether adding high-intensity laser therapy to standard hand exercises can reduce pain and improve function in people with thumb osteoarthritis. About 48 adults with mild to moderate thumb joint arthritis will receive the combined treatment. The goal is to find a better way to manage symptoms without surgery.
