Shining a light on back pain: laser belt trial offers new hope for surgery patients

Summary

This study is testing whether a special belt that shines laser light can help reduce chronic pain and improve wound healing for people who have had spinal fusion or decompression surgery. Researchers will compare the laser belt to a look-alike placebo belt. Participants will wear their assigned belt for 12 weeks and report on their pain levels and daily function.
