Shining a light on back pain: laser belt trial offers new hope for surgery patients

Summary
This study is testing if a special back brace with built-in laser lights can help reduce chronic pain and improve wound healing for people who have had spinal fusion or decompression surgery. Researchers will compare the laser brace to a look-alike placebo brace. Participants will wear their assigned brace for 12 weeks and report on their pain levels and daily function.
