NCT ID NCT03354741
First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested whether using a low-power laser on acupuncture points could help prevent nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy in children aged 2 to 20 with cancer. The goal was to see if adding this laser treatment to standard anti-nausea medicine would reduce or eliminate vomiting and nausea during and after chemotherapy. The study enrolled 30 children and measured how many had no vomiting or nausea at all.
