Summary

This study looks back at 1,200 people who had a breathing tube placed during surgery to find out how often voice box injury happens and what makes it more likely. Researchers will check medical records and call patients to see if they had hoarseness or other throat problems after surgery. The goal is to help doctors reduce these injuries in the future.
