Summary

This early study tests a new version of a device that closes off a small pouch in the heart (the left atrial appendage) in people with atrial fibrillation. The goal is to prevent strokes without needing lifelong blood-thinning medication. Ten participants will be followed for up to a year to see if the device is safe and works well.
