Scientists track mystery molecule in High-Risk pregnancies
NCT ID NCT07411937
Summary
This study aims to understand how a natural substance called kynurenine changes during pregnancy in women with chronic kidney disease. Researchers will measure kynurenine levels in the blood of 204 pregnant women, some with kidney disease and some without, at different stages of pregnancy. The goal is to see if lower levels of this substance are linked to serious pregnancy complications like preeclampsia.
