First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looks at a natural chemical called kynurenine in pregnant women with and without chronic kidney disease. Researchers want to see if low levels of this chemical are linked to preeclampsia, a dangerous condition that can harm mothers and babies. About 200 women will give blood samples during pregnancy and after birth to help understand these connections.
