First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study compares two methods of pain control after total knee replacement. One group gets a standard nerve block (adductor canal block), while the other gets that plus an extra block (biceps femoris short head block). The goal is to see if the combination reduces pain and the need for extra painkillers. Sixty adults undergoing knee replacement will take part.
