First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a second nerve block (biceps femoris short head block) to the standard adductor canal block provides better pain relief after total knee replacement. Sixty adults having knee surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either the combination block or the standard block alone. Researchers will measure pain scores and total painkiller use after surgery.
