New device aims to make knee replacements more precise
NCT ID NCT06264076
Summary
This pilot study is testing a new surgical instrument designed to improve ligament balancing during total knee replacement surgery. The goal is to see if this tool can make the process of adjusting knee ligaments more consistent and predictable for surgeons. The study will involve 40 patients with knee osteoarthritis who are already scheduled for a knee replacement. Researchers will measure how well the new instrument works during surgery and follow patients' recovery afterward.
