First seen Apr 13, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looked at two different nerve blocks—adductor canal block and pericapsular nerve group block—to see which one provides better pain relief after total knee replacement. Sixty adults having knee surgery under spinal anesthesia took part. The goal was to find which block leads to less pain, less need for extra pain medicine, and higher patient satisfaction in the first 24 hours after surgery.
