Summary
This study looked at the long-term safety and benefits of using a patient's own fat-derived cells (stromal vascular fraction) to treat knee osteoarthritis. Sixteen people with moderate knee arthritis received a single injection into the knee and were followed for 10 years. The goal was to see if the treatment was safe and could reduce pain and improve knee function over time.
