First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study compares three injection treatments—steroids, dextrose prolotherapy, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP)—to see which works best for long-term knee osteoarthritis pain relief. About 72 adults aged 40-80 with moderate to severe knee arthritis will receive one of the three injections and be tracked for pain and function changes. The goal is to find the safest and most effective option for easing symptoms.
