Summary
This study tested two types of thigh exercises—eccentric (lengthening) and concentric (shortening)—in 24 women aged 40-59 with knee osteoarthritis. Participants did exercises three times a week for six weeks. The goal was to see which type better improves knee strength, movement, and daily function. Results may help doctors recommend the best exercise for knee OA.
