Angle adjustment boosts leg strength in knee OA patients?
NCT ID NCT07456254
First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looked at whether changing the angle of a leg exercise machine (N-K Table) from 0° to 50° helps people with knee osteoarthritis activate their thigh muscles more effectively. 43 women aged 50-65 with knee OA did leg exercises at both angles, and their muscle activity was measured. The goal was to see which angle leads to stronger muscle contractions, which could help improve exercise programs for knee OA.
