Knee sleeve boosts steroid shot for arthritis pain?

This study tested whether adding a special anti-inflammatory knee sleeve (Reparel™) to a standard corticosteroid injection improves pain, mobility, and daily function in people with knee osteoarthritis. Forty adults with knee OA who chose non-surgical treatment were randomly assigned to get either the active sleeve or a placebo sleeve after their injection. Researchers measured changes in activity, pain, and function over six months to see if the sleeve provided extra benefit.
