Blood test may predict knee arthritis severity

Summary
This study looks at whether two proteins in the blood, called COMP and MMP-3, are linked to the severity of knee osteoarthritis. Researchers will measure these proteins in 60 people with and without knee arthritis and compare them to pain, function, and X-ray findings. The goal is to see if these proteins could be used as simple blood markers to help understand or track the disease.
