First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tested a noninvasive navigation system to measure how the knee moves in people with severe knee osteoarthritis before they get a knee replacement. The goal was to see if measuring knee motion could help doctors better match implants to each patient's anatomy. 40 adults who were scheduled for knee replacement took part. The research focused on improving understanding, not on providing a new treatment.
