Summary
This study is comparing two different plastic inserts used in total knee replacement surgery. One insert has Vitamin E added to it, while the other is a standard version. Researchers are following 605 patients for many years to see if the Vitamin E insert leads to better long-term results, less wear on the plastic, and a lower chance of needing a second surgery.
